..In the context of being benched? The 2-9 NY GIANTS (NFL football team) head coach BEN MCADOO has benched two time super bowl and four time pro bowl quarterback ELI MANNING for second stringer GENO SMITH. .

MCADOO stated he was on "the same page" with NY GIANTS front office management and wanted to "look at" the back up quarterbacks.

Since, 2004, NY GIANTS quarterback ELI MANNING had started in 210 consecutive NFL games for the NY GIANTS.
