ITP V.017 QUARTERLY: BEST OF SECOND QUARTER 2017 (SPRING 2017)

ITP V.017 QUARTERLY: Here it is, it no particular order, the best extreme metal releases SPRING 2017:

1: A star (*) represents definitely one of the best extreme metal releases of 2017, as of yet.

2: This list will be updated with a few more releases this week, as (spoiler alert) this journal entry will be the ITP V.017 featured post of the week.

3-Only SPRING 2017 releases, ITP V.017 BEST of 3rd QUARTER SPRING 2017 RELEASES will be posted in a week or two (depending on time).

4-Not done yet, as this list is not based upon popularity of band, project or sub genre, nor veteran status of band/project, as industrial will be added too. If you're not in the know, the metal gods and goddesses have droped alot of death metal releases upon us this year in 2017, no guarantee of quality.

5-ITP V.017 is listing the best of 2017 quarterly, simply because I never do, and realizing how many great, obscure releases dropped in 2016, I should be organized about this.

6-If ITP's author has time, maybe I'll go backwards for a best of 2016, as despite the tragedies and drama, the music was awesome.

7-This ITP V.017 QUARTERLY (2nd QUARTER SPRING) BEST EXTREME METAL RELEASES 2017 list does NOT count as reviews, although it's tempting.

STRANGEST CONTROVERSIES IN METAL:
Although not a controversy, SOUNDGARDEN vocalist CHRIS CORNELL's death was a major human tragedy as the band were on the road last SPRING of 2017.
CHRIS CORNELL's death via suicide came as a huge shock as a suicide cluster emerged with CHESTER BENNINGTON's death (via suicide) a few months later.
CHRIS CORNELL'S death provoked a much needed dialogue regarding mental health issues, and suicide in the music and entertainment industry.
Depression and mental health issues do NOT discriminate nor make a distinction between socio economic status, race gender, sexual orientation, nor if if you're a rock star.
CORNELL was an amazing talent with a four octave vocal range and a wonderful human being.
..CORNELL wil be missed and for ever remembered.
Say hello 2 Heaven..
Also, R.I.P. to NEGRU from NEGURA BUNGET
