BLACK ANVIL: SET TO UNLEASH "MILES" (EP)

New York City, New York, U.S.A. blackened, thrash metal warriors have announced the release of the bands anticipated new EP "MILES", due to be unleashed 3/4/2019 (DIGITAL). 3/9/2019 (PHYSICAL) cia STB RECORDS.

BLACK ANVIL unleashed a SPLIT with URFAUST "LOW FI LOWLIVE: LIVE IN THE NETHERLANDS",  4/7/2018 via VAN RECORDS.

FROM BLACK ANVIL:
Miles was written in tribute to Selim Lemouchi.
This EP was recorded over time from 2015 to 2018, initially consisting of just the title track, and a cover of Mercyful Fates "A Corpse Without Soul." We made a song with a more hauntingly melodic form to pay honor, but shelved it to focus on As Was.
In 2018, We rounded out this EP with a cover of “Everlasting Saturnalia” by The Devil’s Blood, as well as one more original track, Iron Sharpens Iron.
Set to release on STB Records whom we have a rich 20+ year history with. This is a special release for us.

Featuring cover art by Iza in collaboration with Metastazis, Paris.
-Digital March 4
-Vinyl March 9

Miles was written in memory, the rest written/performed in tribute.
