Major news update 8/20/2019!
So first off i wanted to apologize for being very silent for so long. It has been a very tough year and had some personal issues that i needed to fix and improve. I have to say i must thank all of my fans for still being there even when i was at my worst. It really means alot and i hope to continue to connect with everyone with my music and emotions. I have some amazing news that I am pleased to share with the masses.
As of effective immediately there are two major changes to Happy Days. The first one being that i will no longer be doing vocals for Happy Days anymore. But i can assure you that it's for a very good reason! It is with great pleasure I humbly welcome these 3 new members to the Happy Days roster and will be considered permanent full time members of the band. Please give your utmost support and welcome to the following people:
Francis- Main vocalist,Bass,Lyrics
Leonie- clean and/or back up Vocals, piano,Lyrics
David- Drums
The new direction of happy days will be a very drastic change. It will still follow the black metal genre but there will be some major influences of Black funeral doom as well. This will be a breath of fresh air for everyone. These new members will be taking the band to the next level and i am very eager to commence recording with these wonderful people. I will be of course fully involved especially now that I will be able to focus solely on guitars and composing but I will be more of a back seat to see what these amazing people have in store for the future. The new members Francis and Leonie are two Quebec natives that have been involved in music for a long time and have way more talent and creativity than i will ever have. Its with great pleasure to be able to work together with them to create the new sound Happy Days is in need of. The new drummer David is an amazing percussionist that will bring a much more intense sound to the overall music.
Happy days has now become a USA/Quebec based band. So expect shows to finally commence in the new year when the timing is right and the new album is released. The only details that I am able to provide for the new album will be is that it will be 8-12 songs. once the artwork and the name of the album is confirmed then we will happily release it for everyone. Expect a new sound, new lyrics and there will be more of a french influence to the music (ie lyrics). I am very excited about this and i am very much looking forward to what these new members will create with me. Please feel free to keep in touch for more news and updates as they will be arriving very soon!
