Costa Rica based black metal warriors DEIPHAGO have posted the below statement as the band was recently denied entry into the U.S.A.

After reading of Pelle (Watain) getting banned from entering the USA, we decided to share our experience as well.
We didn't post an official statement about last month's USA tour incident because what happened was completely absurd. We have been touring the USA since 2012 and this is the first time this happened to us. We suffered the same faith as Pelle, a decison was made by a random officer who happened to be on duty that night. We were harassed and even got threatened of going to jail for three years. To make it short, the officer decided to ban us from entering the US because he deemed us dangerous and guilty of associating ourselves with alleged personalities in the USA
Both us and the tour promoter have suffered monetary losses due to this, as tour shirts, banner, flights, venue reservations were all paid for already. If you want to support Deiphago and the organizer you can do so by getting a shirt for the banned tour.
We'll see you USA maniacs in 5 years or in another part of the world! Do the Devil's work!
