Of course, the topic "first world war" in the death and black metal sector is not new, but in 1914 still take this to a new level in terms of image, outfit etc.. similar to God dethroned, 1914 will make it with Creating your songs the ideal atmosphere for this topic. Of course the topic "World War I" isn't new in the Death and Black Metal genre, but 1914 raises this to a new level in terms of image, outfit etc.. Just like God Dethroned, 1914 managed to create the ideal atmosphere for this theme. The songs oscillate back and forth, between slowly dragging, doom-like impetus, and utter frenzy – always corresponding neatly to the overall theme of the song. With his wild mixture of experimental, electronic and extreme metal, main man Gautier Serre absolutely hit the nerve of the open-minded faction, which became clear not least on his last tour, which filled all the venues up to bursting. Self-evidently it was time to guide the Frenchman and his band to Dinkelsbühl, to delight the open-minded and interested fans the like, and to piss off the rest of 'em. But we are sure: also, in Dinkelsbühl, IGORRR will man up and raise hell! Check them out!
Grindcore! Fun! Toilet brushes! Toilet paper! You guys, the Grabenschlampen and we did have a hell a lot of fun with GUTALAX playing in 2019, therefor we simply HAD to book them for 2020 again! But this time the band will play on T-Stage instead of Wera Tool, as it was way too crowded in 2019. Still, one thing is certain:
The Czech know how to pimp up a gore 'n' roll show with a cool stage production. Just have enough toilet brushes and paper with you, erm... The band's crushing porn grind obviously also convinces on its own, but you know the drill: This music doesn't really get entertaining until you get something wild to see on stage. And that's the case with GUTALAX. So the M.O. is: Leave your brain at the door, get a few fun drinks in you, toilet brush in hand, march down to the GUTALAX gig and have some fun! Even prog metal fans should get this right, huh!?

Consequently, the hard-working band is now earning the laurels of success, without ever giving in. The guys are still hot as hell and continue to blast from all their barrels. You can look forward to a nice French banging in Dinkelsbühl at the SUMMER BREEZE 2020.
