Major league baseball pitching legend TOM SEAVER passed away 9/2/2020 at 75 from LEWY BODY DEMENTIA and COVID19.
TOM SEAVER was a one of a kind, dominant pitcher for the NEW YORK METS (and other Major league baseball teams).
TOM SEAVER was a three time CY YOUNG AWARD winner, 1967 National league Rookie of the year. TOM SEAVER had over 300 wins, over 3, 000 strikeouts, a major league baseball hall of famer and a baseball announcer.
TOM SEAVER also pitched for the Chicago White Sox, the Cincinnati Reds and other major league baseball teams.
Last year, during the NEW YORK METS 50th anniversary of their 1969 world series championship, the organization named a street after TOM SEAVER: " 41 TOM SEAVER WAY" (outside of CITI FIELD FLUSHING, NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK), .
