Due to COVID19 travel restrictions, promoters for CAMUNTA SONARA (METAL FESTIVAL), originally set to take place  7/23rd, 24th, 25th, 2021 @ LOSINE, ITALY has been postponed until 2022. More info T.B.A.

We tried. For 22 long months. Until the last day possible. And we are proud of it.

But we have to raise the white flag.

We tried to save an entire demonstration by turning over the bill of a festival damaged by the Covid situation in Scandinavia and UK, and setting up one of the best line ups around in two weeks.

But then in the last 2-3 days, the alarming news, the uncertainties, the green pass that wasn't necessary until yesterday but maybe from next Saturday it will be mandatory but we will only know in 4 days, the spectrum of the yellow zone in Some regions, two outbreaks within a few km of Losine, the over thousands of infected from the Dutch festival despite all being vaccinated and with green pass, the outbreak at the concert at the Carroponte despite mask and spacing, the red zone in Holland effectively removing two more from us bands from the billboard, increasing infections across Europe, first restraining orders from the mayors, first events postponed even in Valle Camonica, the Delta variant that also holes vaccines.

We knew it would be a ′′ monk ′′ demonstration, hotel segregated bands until 30 minutes before the show, no backstage, no hugs, no hands to shake, no meet & greet or memory photos, all sitting in their seats distanced , with a mask, everyone in line distanced to get a beer or a sandwich, the impossibility of hugging a friend you haven't seen since the last concert, and we accepted all of this, and everything was going as planned, but then the arrival of this variant changed all the plans.

And in the face of this fear and uncertainty we first of all have to think about people, spectators and public health. Gathering in a week, and until August 1th, hundreds of people every night for a concert, with an epidemiological situation that no one can currently know, but with predictions more than pessimistic, it doesn't mean to be brave, it means to be unconscious. Imagine only if an outbreak developed here too..... At this particular moment it's too big a responsibility to take.

We requested a specialized opinion from the company that followed the bureaucratic part of the demonstration and they too were clear: the way it's progressing, and we're still a week away, there's no certainty even if we can start the demonstration. So, after hearing from the Institutions, Ranch ownership and the bands involved, we decided to postpone the entire demonstration until next summer, the risk is way too high.
