ITP V.021 ONLY ONE PER COFFIN: R.I.P. SALEM AZZI (VOCALS, GUITARS ATAKOR)

SALEM AZZI, vocalist guitarist for Algerian metal band ATAKOR has passed away from COVID19. . No other details are available.

ATAKOR unleashed "LIVE EVIL", 2002 (SELF RELEASED).

The Algerian metal family has just lost one of its pioneers 'Salem Azzi' of the band Atakor . Rest in peace dear friend we will never forget you!

Our friend Salem Azzi from Boulevard des Martyrs in turn succumb to this cursed virus.

He was of immense kindness and unparalleled humility and delicacy. Respectful of each other and faithful in friendship. Letterred, polyglote, great reader, in love with cultural things, music, cinema, theatre, he was part of the management of the programming of the brilliant Azibi Boualem team.

Like all 'good guy' he had been somewhat marginalized in this structure after his director left and then squarely sidelined.

He told me 3 or 4 years ago about his deboirs at the Programming over a coffee taken together in Garidi where he lived and then about his profession as a journalist (his basic training) in Canal Algeria where He seemed to have found his markers a bit.

My godly thoughts accompany his family and loved ones.
