Update: One person was killed and 21 people were wounded by gunfire after shots were fired at the end of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade, Kansas City police officials said.

Kansas City’s police chief said the number of people hit by gunfire at the Super Bowl parade had risen to 22, and that another person had been detained in connection to the incident, bringing that total to three.
