 The worldwide music community mourns attendees of Russian progressive rock band PIKNIK'S 3/22/2024 SHOW AT CROCUS CITY HALL , MOSCOW RUSSIA as a terrorist attack took place killing 115 and wounding many more.

 The ISLAMIC STATE (ISIS) has been found to be responsible for the terrorist attack,. 

PICNIC (PIKNIK) unleashed "Veselyi i zloi  (Cheerful and evil, Весёлый и злой) in 2022.

TERRORIST ATTACK IN MOSCOW: LATEST UPDATES

Before the start of the concert of the band "Picnic", several terrorists armed with firearms and, probably, explosives, broke into the concert hall. They opened fire indiscriminately at people who came to the concert and statted a fire inside the building. According to preliminary information, they brought gasoline with them, which they spilled and set on fire on the spot.

Rescuers have begun clearing the rubble while the firefighters are still continuing to extinguish the fire, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation stated that the current death toll is 93 people. The numbers will increase further, as there are still people under the rubble. According to preliminary data, the causes of death are gunshot wounds and poisoning by combustion products.

An operational headquarters headed by Russian President Vladimir Putin was organized in the Kremlin.

The injured were taken to 12 Moscow hospitals, where they are given all the necessary help. There are enough supplies of donor blood. In connection with the terrorist attack, the Ministry of Emergency Situations has opened a hotline number: 8-800-775-17-17.

A criminal case has been opened under the article “Terrorist attack”. Investigations are underway.

The Investigative Committee has released footage from the scene of the terrorist attack showing one of the terrorists' machine guns, several dual magazines, a large amount of ammunition, and other equipment.

According to TASS, two of the alleged suspects in the terrorist attack have been detained, while others are being sought. The detainees are believed to be citizens of Tajikistan. The Tajik embassy denied that its citizens have been arrested.

In Moscow and many other Russian cities, all entertainment events, as well as classes in schools and universities, have been cancelled.

Over three dozen countries expressed their condolences to the Russians and condemned what happened at Crocus City Hall. Common people bring flowers to Russian embassies as a sign of grief for the victims.

Picnic (Russian: Пикник), aka Piknik, is a Russian rock band known for its unique style which is a mixture of art rock, progressive rock and original Russian rock. The band was formed in 1978 in Leningrad by Sergey Omelnichenko, Evgeny Voloschuk, Aleksey Dobychin and Edmund Shklyarskiy. Some of their early songs are in Polish.

In 2016, the band was barred from performing in Ukraine due to their performance in Crimea after the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation.^[1][2][3]

Picnic were set to perform at the Crocus City Hall on 22 March 2024 before an attack took place there. At least 93 people were killed.^[4]
