"ARE YOU READY TO RIOT?!" Warriors, if you missed the call, you better put on your armour now as US icons RIOT release "Mean Streets," their first studio album in 6 years, via Atomic Fire Records. Highly lauded by worldwide hard 'n' heavy press and supported by an ongoing European run with label mates TAILGUNNER, the band deliver a 51-minute moment of sheer heavy/power metal glory. RIOT additionally celebrate today's album release by launching the official music video for its speedy title track whose lyrics nostalgically deal with the group's New York City origin. The audiovisual result, which was directed by Tom Flynn (LAMB OF GOD, BUCKCHERRY, SUFFOCATION etc.) who was also responsible for RIOT very popular 'Feel The Fire' video, can now be viewed over on YouTube.
Bassist Don Van Stavern shares his thoughts on the new album: "We're more than proud to finally present "Mean Streets" to the world! It's an album that we put a lot of passion into for our legacy and fans!
