ITP V.024 SPORTS: NEW YORK METS CLINCH PLAYOFF BIRTH

 

 

The New York baseball METS have clinched a WILDCARD playoff birth with a 8-7 win over the ATLANTS BRAVES in game 1 of a pivotal double header.

The METS (shortstop) FRANCISCO LINDOR hit a HUGE 2 run homer in a wild game as the METS came back twice from a 3 run and then 1 run deficit.

 BRAVES games 2 and 3 were postponed due to a hurricane coming through the South. 

Then scenario was if the METS won one game of the double header, they would be in playoffs, if Atlanta won one game of the double header they would be headed to the playoffs. 

If ether team loses BOTH games they are eliminated from any chance of making the playoffs and the GUARDIANS are in the playoffs.

The METS lost to the BRAVES last night in game 1 of the three game series 5-1. .

The Atlanta Braves won game 2 of the double header as they will face the Sand Diego Padres in the wildcard playoffs. 

The New York METS will face the Milwaukee Brewers at 530pm tomorrow for the 1st round of the playoffs.  

 

 

 The NEW YORK METS (baseball team) are set for a pivotal three game series vs. the ATLANTA BRAVES. The METS /BRAVES late season series will decide who gets the third wildcard and a playoff spot. 

The NEW YORK YANKEES have already clinched a divisional title in the AL East. 

Also, in the WNBA the New York Liberty are in the playoffs looking to return to the WNBA Championship series. .
