Belarus death, doom, sludge metal warriors MATRAQUE have posted "KOLA", a track from the bands debut release "NATURE MORTE", due to be unleashed soon in 4/2025 (release date and more info T.B.A.) via ASHEN TREE RECORDS. .

From Belarus, here you are phenomenal sludge doom / death four-piece Matraque , with their brand new impressive song "Kola", taken from their upcoming debut full-length "Nature Morte", out in April!
"Kola" offers a glimpse into the self-recorded and self-produced full-length release, which is currently in the final stages of production. All the lyrics for the album were written in Belarusian, which is one of the elements of the band’s self-expression.
Just as over time, anger and aggression transition into despair, disappointment, and depression, the band, without losing loudness and intensity, chooses corresponding forms and nuances of sound to convey their perception of reality.
In search of their style, where low and sluggish masses of sound are interspersed with mid-tempo bursts, the band drew inspiration from such acts as Body Void, Primitive Man, The Body, Indian, Bismuth, Meth Drinker, Grief. In terms of genre, one could mention sludge, doom, and primitive death metal.
