  Ukrainian ambient black metal warriors SEVEROTH have CANCELLED out of the 2025 DARK TROLL FESTIVAL because there are also two Russian bands booked.

 

 

 

SEVEROTH, via SPOTIFY, are streaming  the bands anticipated new release "BY THE WAY OF LIGHT",  unleashed 3/22/2024 via AVANTGARDE MUSIC. .

Hello!

After recent changes at the Darktroll festival and addition of 2 russian bands to the new line up I've taken a decision to cancel Severoth appearance at this years edition.

I just cannot be on poster and play at same festival as 2 bands from the terrorist country. I don't want to be a part of validating them. I don't see any option of "peaceful co-existence" as long as war still goes and russia still kills Ukrainians on Ukrainian soil.

This is my personal decision with no fault from the Darktroll fest. I understand they just want to recover the damage done in such a short time.

I apologise to all the people who maybe expected to see Severoth at this years edition of Darktroll.
