ITP V.025 ONLY ONE PER COFFIN: R.I.P. JURGEN BARTSCH (BASS, GUIITARIST BETHLEHEM)

JURGEN BARTSCH, bassist and guitarist of German black, doom metal warriors BETHLEHEM died 8/27/2025 of an illness.

Very sad news. As Onielar, frontwoman of Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult and since 2016 at Bethlehem am Mikro, announced on her Insta page, Jürgen Bartsch has passed away. He was the founder and head of the experimental black metal institution Bethlehem Official which has released ten albums and several EPs since 1991. R.I.P., Jurgen

Very sad to hear of the passing of Jurgen Bartsch. One of the true originators in the extreme metal scene. Have been a fan of the band since we first got in contact, trading releases over 30 years ago . Rest in peace my friend. Thank you for the incredible music.
