HORN: STREAMING NEW RELEASE "APOKALYPS 1618" VIA SPOTIFY

German Pagan black metal warriors HORN, via SPOTIFY, are streaming the bands anticipated new release "APOKALYPS 1618" unleashed 6/5/2026 via NORTHERN SILENCE PRODUCTIONS.

HORN, via BANDCAMP, are streaming the bands anticipated new (COMPILATION) release "20 JAHRE", unleashed 5/5/2023 via NORTHERN SILENCE PRODUCTIONS.

This is it, folks! Official release day for "Apokalyps 1618", Horn's 11th full-length album.

This one's probably the most complex Horn output up to date – from the extravagant artwork by Timon Kokott Art-Work that took months of preparation (and took quite the toll on our nerves, hehe) via the research put into the album's historical topics to the integration of various guest musicians. Speaking of which: As some of you may have found out by now, Meister Cagliostro of Attic can be heard in "Barhout", whereas Schwadorf (Empyrium) contributed some wonderful Type O Negative/Ulver styled vocals for "At our bleakest" and Jerff (Änterbila) spewed a few powerful lines in the last verse of the title track. And last but not least, Lestaya (Ferndal) – a regular in the Horn cosmos – pitched in with a magnificent cello part.

All in all: A mixture between classic Horn recipes and experimental (and possibly divisive) tracks!

I am absolutely in love with the crisp, bass-heavy sound that M. Stock/Studio E created for the new output.
