What the three albums share sonically, a violent yet epic brand of Black Metal, they also share thematically and physically. Part III blends the atmospherics of Part I and the aggression of Part II. The band says they have “found the perfect crossover”. And finally, the albums also benefit from similar covers, photographed by Stefaan Temmerman, where nature and the WIEGEDOOD sigil play important parts of the whole. Against this backdrop, WIEGEDOOD is the perfect match to sonically paint our beloved glade black.

With the booking of these gentlemen from Umeå, Sweden, a dream comes true not only for many of you, but also for ourselves. After all, the experimental metal band have been writing metal history since 1987. Their style is difficult to categorize and can roughly be described as progressive death thrash with jazz influences. In the end it doesn't matter though. In-your-face hardcore is always good, right?! Excellent, because in 2019 a big-balls hardcore band called LIONHEART will celebrate their Dinkelsbühl premiere!
Insiders know that there is a high percentage of mosh riffs in the Oakland natives' music, which should already guarantee a good party at SUMMER BREEZE 2019. Massive beatdowns, a big portion of metal and a slight fast-forward tendency will captivate all hardcore followers among you. There will definitely be enough action on and off the stage, so all fans of bands such as Hatebreed, First Blood, Terror etc. know what they have to do in August 2019!


 The Circus comes into town - and that is literally to understand! The Swedes of avatar first give their honor in dinkelsbühl.
That Avatar has far more to offer than super catchy metal hymns, that signs anyone who has seen the boys from gothenburg before. Here the word show is still capitalized, Avatar offer the fans something for the eyes and ears! And that in a casual and funny way that you really can't get away with the offer as a spectator. The compositions do not have to hide behind the show, the catchy can also convince themselves.  Today we have a special treat for all friends of the black metallic arts: GAAHLS WYRD are coming to SUMMER BREEZE 2019!
As is known, GAAHLS WYRD is the new playground of the former Gorgoroth and God Seed musician Gaahl, where he completely focuses on his particular vision of – who would have thought – black metal. Incredibly intense and captivating, the GAAHLS WYRD show we witnessed in Oslo left us simply speechless, so we had no choice but booking the band for the 2019 edition of our festival. A new album is already finished, and if you believe the insiders, a real masterpiece awaits us! Be prepared

Sure, on the mix of gospel and black metal you have to get involved (can), but whoever does this will experience a fantastic band that is still gripping as on record. After we unfortunately didn't manage to book the band for our festival in the past years, in 2019 it's finally done: The Swiss avantgarde black metal band will come to Dinkelsbühl, and we're sure they will leave a deep impression on you with their breathtaking live peformance. Sure, you have to (be able to) embrace the mix of gospel and black metal, but when you do, you will experience a fantastic band that is even more gripping live than on record. The band led by Hotze Knasterbart (Malte from Versengold) and Fummelfips Knasterbart (Simon from Mr. Hurley) know what their fans want: party, party, party – and even more party on top. With their alcohol-infused songs they regularly triumph at all of Germany's medieval festivals, so it is about time KNASTERBART get all their fans in Dinkelsbühl to get up and dance too. In 2014 the metalcore act from Costa Mesa, California had to cancel their SUMMER BREEZE appearance due to their singer's health problems, so that OF MICE & MEN still owe you one in 2019. And they will pay you back, believe us! The post hardcore/metalcore unit will make their show at SUMMER BREEZE 2019 an unforgettable event – so welcome them in Dinkelsbühl with open arms!

With their old school metal, their theatrics and, last but not least, the insane voice of the King himself, the band has set standards with their shows that are second to none. And since his majesty the King and his court aren't often seen in Germany, we are all the more stoked that the band will make an appearance at SUMMER BREEZE 2019. Don't. Miss. This!

The Welsh have not been able to classify themselves in the same way since some albums. Despite all musical development, bullet for my valentine has always managed to not neglect her trademark since hour one: Melodies. No matter how strong the riffgewitter of Valentine's compositions is, there is no shortage of great melodies. For Dinkelsbühl this means: a band for young and old, jacks like girls - the sign for a winning bullet for my valentine at summer breeze 2019 is very good! Finally!

Today, underground legends Deceased premiere the new track "Germ of Distorted Lore" at Decibel magazine's website. The track hails from the band's long-awaited eighth album, "Ghostly White," set for international release on November 16th via Hells Headbangers on CD, cassette & digital. The double LP edition will be released early 2019.
By now, Deceased need no introduction. One of the longest-running American death metal bands, since 1985, Deceased have been there for it all: death metal's genesis, its creative peak, its commercial peak and subsequent sink into trendiness, the eventual fallout and "un-trendiness," its rebirth at the hands of a new generation, and on and on. There they have stood, simply and 100% always Deceased, not caring what year it is or what is hip - simply, always, DEATH METAL FROM THE GRAVE!
And across their sizable-yet-succinct discography, at their heart, Deceased have always been a great HEAVY METAL band. They proved it with 1997's landmark Fearless Undead Machines and continued to prove it with every album thereafter, with 2011's Surreal Overdose showing that even this many years on, their pistons are pumping harder and more creatively than ever.
Ghostly White is Deceased's first album since then, and it's massively anticipated to say the very least. And as expected, this is the sound of Deceased at their finest and most fiery: truly EPIC, narrative songwriting led, as always, by the incomparable creepshow lyricism of founding vocalist King Fowley. Totaling eight songs in a twisting 'n' turning 55 minutes, Ghostly White takes the listener on a breathless yet dynamic ride through the darkest corners of the band's trademark Death Metal From The Grave, with the dual-axe majesty of longtime guitarist Mike Smith and Shane Fuegal (who's been his foil since 2006) taking these songs into almost anthem status. In fact, the urgency and passion with which Deceased play here is startling to behold; most bands even a fraction of their age rarely exhibit this much intensity nor finesse. Of course, throughout, this is simply what they do, because Ghostly White is simply and 100% Deceased.
Some bands rest on their laurels, and other bands merely rest. Deceased may have been away from the album game for some seven years now, but with Ghostly White, they more than prove that they haven't been sleeping: wide-eyed and wild, they're at the top of their game!
