TOMBSTALKER: SET TO UNLEASH "CHAOS MONOLITH"

Lexington, Kentucky, U.S.A. based thrash, death metal warriors have revealed the track listing and art work for the bands anticipated new release "CHAOS MONOLITH", due to be unleashed 9/25/2026 via AWAKENING RECORDS.

TOMBSTALKER unleashed "BLACK CRUSADES", 11/13/2015 via SHADOW KINGDOM RECORDS.

We're excited to announce that US death metal outfit TOMBSTALKER has partnered with Awakening Records for the CD release of their long-anticipated sophomore album, Chaos Monolith. Adirondack Black Mass will handle the vinyl release, and Bat Magick Records will publish the cassette edition. Stay tuned for more! @followers

Formed in 2008 in Lexington, Kentucky, TOMBSTALKER emerged from the collaboration between Chuck McIntyre and Anton Escobar with a vision rooted in raw, aggressive extreme metal. Over the years, the band developed a distinctive sound combining d-beat-driven blackened death metal with influences drawn from Swedish death metal, UK crust, and South American thrash traditions.

Following early demos and splits on various underground labels, TOMBSTALKER released their debut full-length Black Crusades in 2015 via Shadow Kingdom Records and Hells Headbangers. The band maintained an active live presence across the United States, including multiple East Coast tours, a full US tour in 2016, and numerous festival appearances.

Subsequent releases, including the Chaotic Devotion EP (2017), were followed by a hiatus due to lineup changes. During this period, members remained active in other projects such as ROTTING KINGDOM and PYROMANCER, while continuing to develop new material for the band's eventual return.

In 2022, TOMBSTALKER re-emerged with new members Clay Rice and Matt Morris, releasing the Age of Darkness EP in 2023 via Boris Records. Drummer Dustin Boltjes later joined the lineup, contributing to the recording of the band's upcoming full-length.

On Chaos Monolith, TOMBSTALKER delivers a concentrated evolution of their established sound - combining d-beat intensity, blackened death metal aggression, and crushing old-school death metal weight. The album's themes explore dystopian warfare, demonic imagery, technological decay, and the psychological collapse of civilization, continuing the band's long-standing narrative direction.

Rather than reinventing their foundation, TOMBSTALKER refine and intensify it, presenting eight tracks of relentless, groove-driven extremity that highlight both their experience and sharpened songwriting focus.
