THE OCEAN: Special Museum Show In Berlin Featuring Guest Musicians This Saturday!
German metal warriors THE OCEAN will be featured in a unique performance tomorrow night in BERLIN, GERMANY with a variety of instrumentation.
FROM EARSPLIT PR:
On Saturday, January 29th, THE OCEAN will play a unique performance at the Museum für Musikinstrumente at Potsdamer Platz, Berlin. The band will play amidst a collection of historic cembalo from the 16th century. “We will have our piano player Irakli Mamrikishvili with us, who will play on one of these instruments,” said the band in a collective statement, “as well as our live cello player Dalai Theofilopoulou.” The show will also be filmed for an upcoming DVD. Though THE OCEAN will not be playing anything off Anthropocentric during this particular performance, they will be performing some Precambrian tunes they’ve never played before.
THE SHOW IS FREE OF CHARGE (with a “Lange Nacht der Museen”-ticket, which gives you admission to all Berlin museums for the whole night between 6:00pm and 3:00am). For more info, visit: http://www.mim-berlin.de.
