BLITZKID,HACKNEYED and MAD SIN CONFIRMED FOR SUMMER BREEZE OPEN AIR 8-18-20, 2011 DINKELSBUHL, GERMANY

BLITZKID,HACKNEYED and MAD SIN have been confirmed for SUMMER BREEZE OPEN AIR set to take place 8/18-20, 2011 DINKELSBUHL, GERMANY. Cancellation: HAYSEED DIXIE.

BLITZKID are probably the only band at SUMMER BREEZE ever to hand an instrument to a fan for him to get up on stage and play. It happened in 2007 when bassist/singer Argyle Goolsby decided he would rather jump into the crowd and therefore needed someone to replace him. Everything is possible in horror punk, and that's also why these Americans have very fond memories of their first ever trip to Europe. Now it's your turn to make their second appearance in Dinkelsbühl even more fun. Their fast, party and singalong compatible songs will certainly not be the problem.

Psychobilly is on the rise again! And so are the bands who kept carrying the torch in times when that style was virtually non-existent. Formed in 1987, MAD SIN are one of those bands. The Berlin based group possesses a rich back catalogue and has played an insane amount of shows in Europe, USA and Japan. Not too bad considering they started out as a pub band. Let's dance! MAD SIN's mix of punk rock, hardcore and rockabilly is the perfect sound to do so. And even if you're among the rather static festivalgoers, their huge frontman Köfte is always worth checking out.
