Promoters for MARYLAND DEATH FEST 2014, set to take place May 22nd - May 25th, 2014, Baltimore, MD (@ 545 N. High Street (Edison Parking lot), THURSDAY: RAM's HEAD LIVE,FRIDAY-SUNDAY-BALTIMORE SOUNDSTAGE )  have announced a few lineup changes: ROTTING OUT,  ANTISECT, ,ENDORPHINS LOST,ORATOR have CANCELLED their appearances at MARYLAND DEATH FEST 2014.





Promoters for MARYLAND DEATH FEST 2014 have also announced Oregon, USA atmospheric metal warriors AGALLOCH have replaced Norwegian avant garde/black metal legends ULVER, and KILL THE CLIENT have replaced recently split up IN DISGUST.

MDF XII NEWS AND NOTES (Friday Soundstage changes, Sidebar band info, vendors, parking, and more!). This is a lot of information. Please read.

BAND CHANGES:

The following bands on Friday at Soundstage have cancelled: ROTTING OUT (due to surgeries that a band member must undergo), ANTISECT (due to a family matter that a band member must be present for), and ENDORPHINS LOST (van broke down and they can't tour now).

ENDORPHINS LOSThave confirmed to play on Friday at Soundstage.

Also, on a recent visit to the US embassy, ORATOR was told that they cannot come to the US next month, so they will not be playing on Saturday at the Edison Lot. The band is confident that they'll be able to come here next year, and if so, we will book them then. We will be giving most bands playing on Saturday at the Edison Lot a longer set time and NOT announcing a replacement.

SIDEBAR INFORMATION:

During each day of the fest, bands will also be playing at the Sidebar, which is located at 218 E. Lexington Street. The shows here are FREE, no matter if you're a MDF ticket holder or not. Doors at 8:00, first band around 9:00 on each day at the Sidebar.

PARKING: As we said previously, due to a change in agreement with the Edison space, we will not be selling weekend parking passes online before the festival. That said, if you want to park in the lot adjacent to the lot where bands will be playing, you can do so at a daily rate of $10 that can be paid each day when you arrive. Also, please note that overnight parking will NOT be permitted here.

FOOD/DRINK AT THE EDISON LOT:

We are bringing in a concessions company that will provide you with a variety of choices in the beer and liquor department. The food options will also be the best that we've ever had. Zombie BBQ and the Thai food vendor will be back. There will also be several vendors serving the typical food found at any festival (burgers, chicken tenders, etc), Mexican (burritos, tacos, etc), Greek (gyros), Asian noodle dishes, several vegan/vegetarian vendors, and a coffee and smoothie vendor. In other words, bring your thirst and hunger to MDF!

SEATING/SHADE:

When you need to give your legs a break, there will be a large tented area/beer garden at the Edison Lot with several dozen picnic tables.

ATM's:

Will be on site at the Edison Lot.

SCHEDULE:

For all days/venues/stages will be posted no later than next weekend.
