RIDE FOR DIME 2014, a multi city, USA music education charity, set to take place 8/15-16/2014 @ TREES and THE RAIL CLUB DALLAS, TEXAS confirm KILL DEVIL HILL, THY WILL BE DONE, PUMPJACK, GENERATOR, HABIT OF FORCE and many more bands.
RIDE FOR DIME 2014 will kick off with its annual motorcycle ride to DARRELL ABBOTT's grave near Arlington, Texas.

"DIMEBAG" DARRELL ABBOTT, co-founder and guitarists for thrash/metal bands PANTERA and DAMAGEPLAN was shot and killed 12/8/2004 during a show in Columbus, Ohio by deranged gun man Nathan Gale.

Ride For Dime Inc, a 501 (c) 3, charitable organization, honours the lives of guitar hero and friend, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, Jeff Thompson, Nathan Bray, and Erin Halk. Ride for Dime has proudly given back to charities that were of interest to Darrell during his life as well as charities he would have been proud to be a part of, like Little Kids Rock, Toys For Tots, IAVA and many more. In 2010, we formed and began funding our own “Ride for Dime Scholarship Fund.”
Originally formed in Arlington, Texas, in 2005 by Darrell’s friends and family, the organization has now grown to having six nationwide chapters. Each chapter will hold it’s own event, and all proceeds go directly to The RFD Scholarship Fund. Our current chapters include: Texas, Philadelphia, Chicago, Florida, Wisconsin, Nashville and Minnesota and the UK. We have many inquiries for more states and cities, as well as international interest.

We are dedicated to furthering the music education of Americas youth.
