German thrash metal warriors BLIZZEN have cancelled out of the bands previously announced appearance at the 2015 OUT AND LOUD FESTIVAL, set to take place 6/4-6/2015 GEISELWIND,GERMANY due to the festivals confirmation of FreiWild.
BLIZZEN are set to release "Time Machine" (EP) 4/17/2015 via HIGH ROLLER RECORDS.

Nach der Bestätigung der Band FreiWild auf dem Out and Loud-Festival wollen wir bei dem Event nicht mehr mitwirken. Die unserer Meinung nach nicht akzeptierbare politische Einstellung der Band, ihrer Fans und Message haben im Heavy Metal und im Allgemeinen nichts verloren. Musik soll und darf nicht Instrument politischer Propaganda sein.

After the confirmation of the german political controverse band "FreiWild", we don't want to be a part of the Out and Loud festival any more. In our opinion, their inacceptable political message and ideology should have no chance in the heavy metal scene. Music should not be an instrument of political propaganda.

Eigentlich sollte am 07. Februar der letzte Headliner für das OUT AND LOUD 2015 bekannt gegeben werden... so stay tuned, denn der kommt ebenfalls noch!
Nachdem die Karten für die FREI.WILD April Show in Geiselwind binnen Rekordzeit ausverkauft waren, hat man bei einem zufällig stattgefundenen Gespräch zwischen Veranstalter und Band/Crew in jüngster Vergangenheit schnell den gemeinsamen Tenor gefunden, dass hier durchaus weiterer Bedarf an einer Livepräsenz in der Region gegeben ist und das Out & Loud hierfür genau die richtige Plattform wäre/ist. Uns als Festival ist die Band seit Jahren bestens bekannt und wir blicken der Performance ausschliesslich mit positiven Gefühlen entgegen. Band und Umfeld passen in ihrer professionellen Struktur wunderbar ins O&L Festivalgebilde.
Hunderttausende von verkauften Alben, hunderttausende von "followern" und ausverkaufte Arenatouren können sich schlecht irren. FREI.WILD sind ein Phänomen in der Musiklandschaft, welches polarisiert, ohne auszugrenzen, oder zu diskriminieren. 4 bodenständige Jungs aus Südtirol mit harten Gitarrenriffs, grossen Melodien und klaren Aussagen im Gepäck….fern ab von jedem Extremismus!

Initially we planned to throw our final headliner out on February 07th 2015 - so stay tuned, this one will hit you on that date, too!
After sales on the sold out tour-stop at Geiselwind were running extremely fast, the band/crew and the OAL-promoters agreed in a coincidentally meeting that there still is need for some FW-live-performance in the area left. So everybody was really fast in deciding, that the OAL 2015 might be the best choice to close that gap. We, the festival-organisators, and the band FREI.WILD are in friendly contact for years ad we all are really looking forward to this live-presentation. The band and all their affiliates meet the professional approach of the festival perfectly.
Houndreds of thousand sold records, countless followers and sold out arena-tours can't be wrong: FREI.WILD are a musical phenomenon that polarises without segregating or discriminating anybody. 4 down-to-earth guys from Southern Tyrolia accompanied by hard guitar-riffs, great melodies and straight messages - far away from any extremism!
