We've just heard that our good friend and weekend editor Brian Shields has passed away at the age of 53. Our thoughts are with his family and the rest of his network of friends who are shocked and saddened by his passing.

He was always such a huge and genuine supporter of our band and all of us as individuals, and for that we are eternally grateful. Brian, we will miss you immensely. Rest easy, friend.
