KATATONIA: POST VIDEO FOR "SHIFTS"

Swedish progressive, atmospheric metal warriors KATATONIA have posted a video for "SHIFTS", a track from the bands new release "THE FALL OF HEARTS", unleashed 5/20/2016 via PEACEVILLE RECORDS.

KATATONIA have announced a special show as the band will perform "THE GREAT COLD DISTANCE" in its entirety with the PLOVDIV PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA, set to take place 9/22/2016 @ ROMAN THEATER PLOVDIV, BULGARIA.

Ahead of our upcoming European tour we are proud to reveal a new music video for ‘Shifts’, directed by Lasse Hoile.

As the music for this song unfolded it took off in a different direction from usually what we do. Driven by its gentle, lush and shimmering rendition of melancholy it would take you for a waltz daydreaming of the past, longing for the happiest times of your life, only to find that when the dance is over, emptiness has filled another chamber of your heart. Both Jonas and Lasse enhanced these ideas into beautifully told lyrics and a simple, but very touching video - Anders Nyström
