ABOVE AURORA: POST NEW TRACK "ABYSSAL HADES"

Polish blackened-doom metal warriors ABOVE AURORA have posted "ABYSSAL HADES", a track from the bands anticipated new release "PATH TO RUIN" (EP), due to be unleashed 4/6/2018 via PAGAN RECORDS.

ABOVE AURORA unleashed "ONWARDS DESOLATION", 5/27/2016 via PAGAN RECORDS.

Premiere track from our upcoming mini album "Path to Ruin". To be released on CD, digital and 12" vinyl by Pagan Records on April 6th 2018.

“Path to Ruin”, a new mini-album, comes on 6 April 2018 via Pagan Records. The mini-album follows up on the band’s debut album, “Onwards Desolation”, released in 2016 (also through Pagan Records).
“Path to Ruin” continues the pessimistic vision of the previous album”, comments vocalist and guitarist, V. The path the band have chosen is not one of harmony. “We are treading the previously chosen path of dissonance, mid and slow tempos”, continues V. Although Above Aurora are continuing what “Onwards Desolation” started, their “Path to Ruin” still includes “moderately selected sounds in a slightly different form”.

“Path to Ruin” was born towards the end of 2017 in Reykjavik, Iceland at Studio Emissary (known for works by Svartidauði, Slidhr, Myrkr among others). Mixing and mastering was completed by Stephen Lockhart.
The new material will be available in digital, CD and vinyl formats via Pagan Records and is now available for pre-order.
