World Metal Congress is a two-day celebration of heavy metal and its global appeal. With film premieres, live music, and lively debate featuring the great and good of the heavy metal world, WMC is all about bringing the global heavy metal community together - from India to South Africa to Singapore to Syria and beyond.
Created with the support of Arts Council England, Day one is an industry-facing conference featuring key decision-makers from labels, festivals, media, and the artists themselves. Day two features films highlighting metal’s triumph over adversity and a live gig from Wormrot, one of global metal’s true success stories.
