 FROM TENGGER CALVARY:
It is with deep sadness and shock that we must share the news that Nature has passed away. Nature’s greatest goal in life was the unite people of all backgrounds through community and through music. He was also an advocate for mental health, and encouraged everyone from friends to total strangers to persist through their struggles. Though we have lost a dear friend and a great artists, we know that his music will live on and continue to help us find our common ground and find our strength despite adversity. Please respect the privacy of Nature’s family during his painful time. May the Eternal Blue Sky find him at peace

FROM MARYLAND FOLK METAL FESTIVAL:

We are devastated to hear of the passing of Nature from the legendary Tengger Cavalry. He was one of a kind and his music inspired people all over the world. I'm told he was passionate about bringing people together through music, and that's exactly what he did. Rest in Power.
We are in the process of obtaining a new headliner for this year so stay posted. We will have a toast to Nature at the festival to honor his memory. So please be there and help celebrate his memory with us.

FROM THE SAMANS:
yesterday my wife woke me up and told me an old friend, Nature Ganganbaigal(张天然), founding member, songwriter and frontman of Tengger Cavalry, was found dead in his car by Texas police. probably committed suicide after a long time suffering from depression. he is one of the few metal musician from china that got real talent. hands down. and i know everyone. it's not fair coz he deserves so much more. i can still vividly remember the day he told me he was admitted by NYC to study music composition. this heartbreaking news crushed me. it is because i understand, that i'm frightened, being suffered from the bipolar syndrome after all. if i say a part of me was dead inside with this shit it would not be an exaggeration. the pic was taken in 2013 after a kickass gig at MAO livehouse, beijing. by that time he was still this egomania bastard with absolute ego and narcissism and shit. god i miss that. farewell brother, may you be on the horseback, traversse the endless prairie, and finally rest in peace In the almighty hands of Tengger. a nomad no more, you are home now.

FROM HINAYANA:

It is with a heavy heart that we say farewell to our dear friend Nature Ganganbaigal. It saddens us deeply to hear of his passing. He was immensely talented and a true inspiration to us, and his impact on the lives of everyone who knew him will not be forgotten. You will be missed, brother. Rest In Peace and may your spirit ride on forever.
