Dear friends,
Unfortunately, after six years as a band, we’re announcing that we have decided to put Altars of Grief on hiatus for an indefinite period of time.
Words can’t express how grateful we are to everyone who’s followed us on this journey, and to all of the wonderful people we’ve had the privilege of meeting over the years. When we formed this band back in 2013, we couldn’t have imagined that it would grow into what it is now, or the kind of impact that it’s come to have on all of our lives.
We’re hoping to discuss the possibility of organizing at least one, final show. So, we hope you’ll keep an eye out for that announcement in the future. But, in the mean time we’ll be taking some time away to focus on our own projects, and personal priorities.
Know that we don’t intend for this to be the end of our musical endeavours together. This is just goodbye, for now.
Once again, thank you all so much for sharing this incredible piece of our lives with us.
