 DEAD SUN are a Swedish melodic, death and roll duo featuring ROGGA JOHANSSON and drummer JON RUDIN. 

ROGGA JOHANSSON is also known for his many metal projects including EYE OF PURGATORY, JOHANSSON and SPECKMANN, DOWN AMONG THE DEAD MEN, REEK, REVOLTING, MASSACRE, PAGANIZER and more extreme metal bands. 

  DEAD SUN'S "NIGHT TERRORS" kicks off with "LIKE RAIN",  a death and roll, bass fuzzed banger with comprehensible death vox and an underlining melody. . 

DEAD SUN'S "KINGDOM OF THE MAD" features some excellent death metal vocals, good hardcore drumming via JON RUDIN with a progressive sludgy rock riff.

The title track from DEAD SUN'S "NIGHT TERRORS" is another banger with quality riffing,  and drumming...DEAD SUN'S "NIGHT TERRORS invoke a noticeable punk influence with dramatic synths balancing out a driving riff. 

  DEAD SUN'S "WORLDS" is a melodic thrash track with a definitive riff locking in with the drumming and a subtle melody. At 2:57 "WORLDS" segues into a melodic, atmospheric riff to close the track. 

  DEAD SUN'S "NECTAR OF THE GODS" features some good melodic, guitar work and good compositional songwriting for another melodic, totally accessible banger..  .

DEAD SUN'S "VORTEX DANCE" invokes melodic thrash for a wondrous mosh pit anthem.   

 DEAD SUN'S . "THE LUNATICS"  is a dirty, raw death and roll track with some quality, melodic lead guitar work and a good spoken sample. .. 

  DEAD SUN'S "NIGHT TERRORS"  closes with  "THE DOOMED", a melodic hard rock song with some good guitar work and a driving rock beat. 

 

  DEAD SUN'S "NIGHT TERRORS" is totally accessible death and roll banger of a release that deserves airplay on metal radio.

DEAD SUN'S ENTOMBED influence gives  "NIGHT TERRORS" an "old school" vibe as the songwriting is ripe with melody. 

One can't help to dance and mosh to  DEAD SUN'S "NIGHT TERRORS" as ROGGA JOHANSSON (vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards)  and drummer JON RUDIN. work and play tightly together for some awesome tunes. 

DEAD SUN'S ROGGA JOHANSSON is a popular, talented but underrated musician.

DEAD SUN'S "NIGHT TERRORS" good songwriting, good musicianship plus melodic riffing and great death vox are the recipe to an accessible and fun listen.
