THAGIRION: STREAMING "ON THE PATH OF SHATTERED BELLS" VIA BANDCAMP

 French black metal warriors THAGIRION, via BANDCAMP, are streaming the bands anticipated debut EP "ON THE PATH OF SHATTERED BELLS", unleashed 3/5/2021 (DIGITAL, SELF RELEASED). 

 

 

 FROM THAGIRION:

The black flames of Thagirion have been burning at the core of Vagus Nox for more than a decade and while its original incarnation with vocalist/lyricist Triid Vox did not find its required and long lasting spiritual strength, the yet completed original works had to be put to an undefined but momentary silence.
However, following the sparks of an undone blaze, unresting embers were at last set alight with the encounter of vocalist Spir Ignis.
In 2019, after 2 years of devotion from the dyad, the first manifestation of Thagirion was to be recorded. To achieve the level of fierceness that was sought, the duo joined forces with CsR on the drums who since became a permanent and undeniable additional force
"On the Path of Shattered Bells" was finally released on March 2021. This EP is a massive deflagration of agressive black/death metal enhanced with a strong funereal atmosphere. Little rest is granted in the Pale Harvester's domain that malevolent and melodic guitars build with the support of relentless drums and overwhelming vocals.
"On the Path of Shattered Bells" is self-produced and has been recorded at Jonesy Agency, then mixed and mastered at Studio Sainte-Marthe by Francis Caste.
