Mumbai, India based thrash metal warriors SCEPTRE are taking a stand against misogyny in a country with a high rate of violence against women.

SCEPTRE unleashed "ONE SHOT ONE KILL (EP), 8/14/2019 (SELF RELEASED VIA BANDCAMP).

SCEPTRE unleashed "Age Of Calamity", 2/15/2013 (self released and releases on COUNTER CULTURE RECORDS) is a concept release challenging violence against women.

It is with great sadness that we'd like to announce that Sceptre will be officially disbanding. The last 22 years have been extremely wonderful for us. But currently, each of us in the band is in a phase where we just cannot take the band ahead in the direction it deserves. We'd like to thank our respective families without whom nothing would have been possible. To our fans,who have supported us..watched us live..bought our merch..or simply hung out with us after gigs. A huge shout out to the bands we've shared stage with and the amazing organizers who booked us for their gigs.You can still buy our merch by clicking on https://www.instamojo.com/sceptreindia and our music will still be available on various online platforms. Last but not the least, bro hugs to our ex band members... Teemeer Chimulkar, Ajay , Vispy Homavazir, Amar Negi , Frank Pawar, Sanju Aguiar, Shezan Sheikh, Samron Jude and Ronojoy Barooah! Our brothers Hemant Valvi, Shubham Rai, Utsav and Dushyant Dubey for managing the band and being an unforgettable part of this beautiful journey. The guy who made us sound heavy at every gig, Sheldon Dixon! Once again, a BIG thank you to each and every one of you. We hope we made a difference to your life with our music. Thrash forever!
