U.S. SUPREME COURT JUSTICE: DRAFT LEAKS TO OVER TURN ROE VS. WADE AND LEAVE IT UP TO INDIVIDUAL U.S. STATES

 Last MONDAY, POLITICO reported that a draft to vote to over turn ROE VS. WADE and abortion rights leaked from the Federal U.S. Supreme Court. The draft stated that abortion rights will be left to individual U.S. states. 

On 1/22/1973, ROE VS. WADE was passed by the Federal U.S. Supreme court giving women the right to have safe and legal abortions.  .

While it's disappointing and unconstitutional to over turn Rose Vs. Wade as women's reproductive rights were already won in Federal Supreme Court in 1973.. The leak of the draft is convenient as we have right to know what the Supreme Court is doing. START PROTESTING FOR WOMEN'S REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS and THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE NOW!

I find it highly ironic how the religious right got in bed with Republicans . Back in the 80's and 90's Republican presidents (Reagan, George Bush Sr. and George Bush Jr.) wouldn't touch Roe Vs. Wade with a ten foot poll, even if they are personally pro life.These days, Republicans have gone so far right (alt. Right) that a know pro lifer, homophobe (Mike Pence) was our vice President. The religious right became far more influential throwing millions of dollars into sponsoring Republicans. It's the same religious right that campaigned to ban gay marriage until that blew up in their face when the Supreme Court said yes to marriage equality. The Religious right are unfortunately rich and influential .rather than just fringe during the last 10-15 years. I find this disappointing as I'm pro choice.

US Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts confirms leaked draft of abortion decision is authentic, orders investigation

On Tuesday, Chief Justice John Roberts confirmed the authenticity of a leaked draft document written by Justice Samuel Alito suggesting that the US Supreme Court will vote to overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark case that made abortion legal nationwide. Roberts added that, while it is legitimate, it is not yet a final decision and directed the Marshal of the Court to launch an investigation into the leak. POLITICO was the first to report the document, which is dated February 10, on Monday.
