WARKINGS are a European power metal band with quirky warrior stage names and a Viking warrior concept.

WARKINGS "MORGANA" kicks off with "HELLFIRE enters with thrash complimented but screamed and clean vocals. "HELLFIRE is a well written song with a good, versatile vocal performance.

WARKINGS "TO THE KING" is another well written, mid tempo track, a little tempered from the previous one."TO THE KING" features a catchy chorus, a cinematic, orchestral feel and excellent clean vocals. .

WARKINGS "MONSTERS" features good clean and screamed vocals as the song is a mid paced rocker reminding me of German metal band SCORPIONS. .

WARKINGS "LAST OF THE ENGLISH" is a heavier track with more pronounced thrash to power metal rock elements..GEORGE NEUHAUSER'S vocals paint a beauty in darkness and melodic picture of the songs concept. .

WARKINGS. "HEART OF RAGE" employs acoustic sitar , electrics guitars and both clean and screamed vocals with great effect as the song has a beautiful (song along) chorus.

WARKINGS "ROW (INTO THE STORM)" invoked the nautical as the track is one of the calmer, mid paced numbers. However, "ROW (INTO THE STORM)" has melodic moments as the you can hear the chant of the warriors rowing "ROW, ROW, ROW!".

WARKINGS "IMMORTAL" is a slightly heavier track with pronounced riffs and screamed and cleaned vocals. "IMMORTAL is well written rocker.

WARKINGS "SHAME" features a rolling thrash riff set to chanting the songs title and a good vocal performance via .GEORGE NEUHAUSER dueling with a female vocalist..

WARKINGS "THE RITE" features middle eastern influenced guitar and an upbeat pace. Good rhythm guitar riffs adorn "THE RITE" along with the usual stellar vocal performance.

WARKINGS "MORGANA" closes with "LEGEND UNTOLD", is mid paced, well written track with some thrash riffs and good solos.

WARKINGS "MORGANA" is a concept release of sorts about an Arthurian witch and her relationship with the King as the concept is split into four chapters.

WARKINGS "MORGANA" features an excellent vocal performance via GEORGE NEUHAUSER' and some awesome vocal chorus.

WARKINGS songwriting can vary between good and some of the tracks sounding similar as that might have to do with lack of riff variety.

Overall, WARKINGS "MORGANA" was an enjoyable listen with some good tunes. .
