MMXX: STREAMING NEW RELEASE "THE NEXT WAVE" VIA BANDCAMP

   International collaborative metal project MMXX, via BANDCAMP, are streaming  the projects anticipated new release  "THE NEXT WAVE", unleashed 4/14/2023 via CANDLELIGHT RECORDS.

"The opener "Isolation", with Mikko Kotamäki in the voice, is a gloomy reflection halfway through between first Katatonia and Swallow The Sun, whose suggestions can only sicken those who have always loved the so-called 'old school' of the melodic death-doom thread. Just as heavy, but more aloof and compassionate, “Alone”, with a Mick Moss (Antimatter, Sleeping Pulse) here engaged in offering fragments of stillness on an instrumental storm that releases unrest and electricity. Closing the work "Echoes", a track conducted by Alicia Nurho (already a violinist on the previous two episodes), whose voice ends up giving a particularly decisive impression on music, searching for a harmony that seems to spread indefinitely on an empty and imaginary road, surrounded by suggestive arpeggios on a tenuous course".
