San Diego, California, U.S.A. based death, grinders CATTLE DECAPITATION are back with a new release. The VEGAN and animal rights grinders have dropped "TERRASITE" as the band looks to satisfy both old and new fans. 

CATTLE DECAPITATION'S "TERRASITE" kicks off with "TERRASITIC ADAPTATION", a fast and furious track with plenty of blastbeats and great riffing.CATTLE DECAPITATION' vocalist TRAVIS RYAN'S vocals are diverse as he employs barks, growls, and blackened screams. 

 CATTLE DECAPITATION'S "WE EAT OUR YOUNG" is another barn burner chock full of good riffing , fast paced blast beats with a shout along chorus. 

 CATTLE DECAPITATION'S "SCOURGE OF THE OFFSPRING"  features a proggy riff set to an interesting time signature. Lyrically "SCOURGE OF THE OFFSPRING" rake on the subjects of the downfall of human kind in a COVID society: "We are infections
We are pathogens, We are assassins". 

CATTLE DECAPITATION'S "THE INSIGNIFICANTS" is reminiscent of MIKE DISALVO era CRYPTOPSY with a little more vocal variety courtesy of TRAVIS RYAN. "THE INSIGNIFICANTS" melds death metal with grind and roll very well and in dramatic fashion. 

CATTLE DECAPITATION'S  "THE STORM UPSTAIRS" features a SICK thrash riff at 1:58 that will get the punters in the pit headbanging and moshing. "THE STORM UPSTAIRS" features some interesting and unique clean vocals courtesy of TRAVIS RYAN.

CATTLE DECAPITATION'S  "...AND THE WORLD WILL GO ON WITHOUT YOU" features  flowing death metal riffs, and enough thrash riffs to get those heads banging. "...AND THE WORLD WILL GO ON WITHOUT YOU" features a unique clean vocal chorus and s sick scream. 

CATTLE DECAPITATION'S "A PHOTIC DOOM" features excellent drumming courtesy of  DAVID MCGRAW and good songwriting. 

CATTLE DECAPITATION'S  . "DEAD END RESIDENTS"features quality lyrics about being born into poverty and the cost of living."DEAD END RESIDENTS" features both mid tempo and fast parts with death and roll riffs and enough chugs to get the necks snapping. 

CATTLE DECAPITATION'S ."SOLASTALGIA"  features super fast blast beats segued with blackened symphonic riffs and of course TRAVIS RYAN'S unholy blackened screams. There are light synths featured on  "SOLASTALGIA" along with some clean vocals... 

CATTLE DECAPITATION'S "TERRASITE" closes with "JUST ANOTHER BODY" the albums longest tune at over 10 minutes...  "JUST ANOTHER BODY" segues in with a beautiful piano intro before going balls out into the heavy apocalypse. "JUST ANOTHER BODY" dabbles in a combination of blast beat heaven backed by light keyboards and mid tempo time changes. "JUST ANOTHER BODY", segues into simple rock featuring good clean vocals on the chorus: ."But I... I'm just a body,Alive but rotting
A storm of flies that hides behind these eyes'."

. CATTLE DECAPITATION'S "TERRASITE" is the bands most versatile release to date featuring excellent production, a savage vocal performance by TRAVIS RYAN' and over all great musicianship. 

 CATTLE DECAPITATION'S "TERRASITE" features good, but not great songwriting. However, CATTLE DECAPITATION'S "TERRASITE" features some excellent riffing, complete neck breakers.

While DAVID MCGRAW'S drumming is excellent they sound overly triggered too much like a drum  machine. 

Overall,  CATTLE DECAPITATION'S "TERRASITE" is pummeling tornado of a release, with enough of a variety of riffs to snack on. 

I can't wait to see CATTLE DECAPITATION live again.  CATTLE DECAPITATION'S "TERRASITE" is one of the best releases of the year.
