ZERO TOLERANCE MAGAZINE: "'I'm so sorry for the horrible length of time you've had to wait for issue 109. After a catalogue of unavoidable print delays including (not exclusively) illness/absence, printers changing ownership, barcode issues on the already printed copies needing replacing, import problems for the cover CDs, CDs being impounded and then held at customs, CDs then being misplaced all causing enormous, continual problems in getting the copies finished and into the retail distribution chain - literally a collection of absolute nightmares - it is with a huge sense of relief that I can tell you that copies are finally ready to mail!"

FROM ZERO TOLERANCE MAGAZINE:

Dear all,
I'm so sorry for the horrible length of time you've had to wait for issue 109.
After a catalogue of unavoidable print delays including (not exclusively) illness/absence, printers changing ownership, barcode issues on the already printed copies needing replacing, import problems for the cover CDs, CDs being impounded and then held at customs, CDs then being misplaced all causing enormous, continual problems in getting the copies finished and into the retail distribution chain - literally a collection of absolute nightmares - it is with a huge sense of relief that I can tell you that copies are finally ready to mail!
Issue 109 will enter the postal system on Monday via the Royal Mail. Hurray! Pre-order copies will mail the moment we receive our copies in the office. This will be early next week - if you have pre-ordered you will receive email confirmation as soon as your copy mails. Please give your copies time to make their way through the postal system. If you buy on the newsstand, we will have an onsale date for when stores will stock copies asap.
This issue has been such a headache, for you of course having to wait and also for us; made worse by the fact that updates have been really difficult to provide as there have been so many different wildfires to put out - at times it has been impossible to ascertain how long something will take to resolve.
So, in another piece of positive news, to help with the smooth running of future issues we've enlisted a commissioning editor; this will take some of the pressure off me so that I can get back up to speed with things. An extra pair of hands will help massively to keep things moving along at an improved pace meaning we will be in a better position to meet production schedules; any problems that arise will be far easier to navigate and the sort of delay you've experienced shouldn't occur again. Ever!
I really hope this email is good news for you, and I'd like to take this moment to thank you so much for your patience.
