U.S. and Netherlands based thrash metal warriors SIEGE OF POWER have posted a statement on why the band won't play live shows.
SIEGE OF POWER unleashed "THIS IS TOMORROW", 2/17/2023 via METAL BLADE RECORDS.
FROM SIEGE OF POWER:
Just a statement and explanation why we will not do live shows in the near future.
Firstly Chris lives 8,800km away which is not next door so you would need to do a 3 to 4 week tour to take up all the offers. We would also have to rehearse a lot in advance to get a setlist, which means that Chris has to camp in Europe for weeks. So far impossible for Chris.
A festival tour then? Also not possible at the moment. Period!
And what about Paul and Chris' busy schedules with Autopsy and Asphyx? Seems clear to us.
Bob and Theo feel like they've been through it all. Been on tour buses and planes for years. Seen everything. Been there, done that. Done with it.
In short, 99.9% pretty sure SIEGE OF POWER will always remain a studio project. But in the music business you never know of course, but still a live show is pretty unlikely.
So right now there's no plans for live gigs, but who knows what the future holds.
But we do want to thank everyone for the overwhelming interest in Siege of Power! Cheers to that! In the meantime, put on "This is Tomorrow". A pristine and gritty look at life.
