SHINING: FACEBOOK HACKED?

 NIKLAS KVARFORTH, vocalist for Swedish depressive black metal warriors SHINING has stated his FACEBOOK has been hacked by Russians and/or a former bandmate as the person won't give it back and is making derogatory posts about NIKLAS KVARFORTH.

SHINING have announced new drummer NICK BARKER (formally of CARADLE OF FILTH and DIMMU BORGIR).

SHINING, via BANDCAMP, are streaming "UGLY AND COLD", a stand alone single, unleashed 7/15/2022 via THE SINISTER INITIATIVE and SEASON OF MIST. .


Swedish depressive black metal warriors SHINING re-issued the bands 1988 debut "SUBMIT TO SELF DESTRUCTION" (EP),  re-unleashed 4/2019  via THE SINISTER INITIATIVE.


SHINING recently launched "THE SINISTER INITIATIVE"  record label as vocalist NIKLAS KVARFORTH has started an official INSTAGRAM account.

VERY IMPORTANT NEWS

We have tried to avoid having to issue the following statement for far too long, but due to recent events we have no choice but to speak up about some unpleasantness which have taken place within the band since the beginning of this cursed year 2023 A.Y.P.S.

Once the new, refined manifestation of SHINING had been revealed, all members reluctantly had to deal a sixth person who we had no option but to let go due to him jeopardizing everything we have worked for and well: As a result becoming the most vindictive, jealous member we have ever had to part ways with.

Not only has this ruined both our own as well as Napalm Records promotional campaign by first of all, this former friend of ours, hijacked our Facebook page, and refusing to give it back, only to use it amongst other things to do everything he can to destroy our legacy.

So, the Facebook page has been under his control since April and whatever you get from there, posts or mails are not from us, and we wont even try to get the situation solved anymore because it has already cost all of us too much.

Thanks to all our fans and your immense support!
You truly make us determined to never give up and to cut ties with everyone who even causes a second of distress, as well: it just not fucking worth it.
