 Spanish death metal legends AVULSED have announced three members have left the band.



AVULSED have posted "INTERGALACTIC GORE WARS",  a stand alone single, unleashed 5/4/2023 via XTREEM MUSIC.

AVULSED unleashed (live offering) "NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEATHGENERATIONS" (2 CD and DVD), due to be unleashed 4/17/2017 via XTREEM MUSIC.

EARTHQUAKE IN AVULSED!

From AVULSED, we have to inform you, with great sadness, that three of the members (Juancar, Cabra and Tana) have decided not to continue in the band. It was a sudden decision, but it didn't catch the rest of the band by surprise. If anyone was wondering why AVULSED hasn't released a new album since 2013, much of the answer can be found here. We're not going into more details, because problems and differences exist even in the best families.

Time passes, people change, their lives change, their preferences, their interests, their desires, and it had come to a point where many of the things that motivated part of the band 20-30 years ago, were no longer the same. It's understandable and respectable. In life there are cycles, and this one ends here for Juancar, Cabra and Tana. It doesn't stop like that for Dave Rotten and Santi, whose eagerness and excitement to record new music and above all, play shows around the world and share them with our fans, not only remain intact, but now renew with more strength if possible.

AVULSED moves on, it will continue to be a banging Death Metal machine, only with new sage and more desire to eat us the world than ever. This doesn't take away from us being proud and grateful to Juancar, Cabra and Tana for these three decades in which we have shared all kinds of experiences and experiences that otherwise would have been impossible.

The outing was friendly and in a good mood. In such a way that AVULSED finally we were at the beginning of recording a new album for 2025 and that, despite being truncated by this event, both Juancar and Cabra kindly give up their 8 tracks, so that the next album of the band will follow carrying their imprint and thus leaving a very valuable legacy that the rest of the band welcome and appreciate wholeheartedly to be finalized with the future new formation, serving as a perfect transition for what will be the next album composed entirely by the new members to come.

For the rebuilding of AVULSED, we'll need two guitarists and one bassist to fill the vacancies.

Requires a good instrumental level, own equipment, willingness to rehearse and play live, and above all... interest and love for Death Metal!

The outgoing members Juancar, Cabra and Tana wanted to make the following statement as farewell:

"Very good to all.

Tana, Cabra and myself, Juancar, have decided to abandon the band.

The time has come to close a cycle and with great regret, but convinced of it, we have decided to put an end to what has been the great experience of our existence, in which we have spent more than half of our lives.

Everything has a beginning and an end and the time has come for our ways to part ways from Avulsed.

It has been a few unforgettable years, in which we have not stopped enjoying this gift and this luck that has been to belong to Avulsed and contribute, along with all those who passed here and those who stay here, to have led the band to achieve the goals he has reached. Goals that none of us imagined when we were just over twenty, that we could achieve.

The years have passed and the lives of each of us have been changing and so have our preferences.

We are not going to hide that there have been differences between us, but there were always and they were never important enough, and in this case neither were the reason for our departure.

Shows that everything has ended with maximum cordiality, is that the compositions we had already prepared, remain to be part of the new work that soon we hope the band will take out (that will continue to give you war, of course!! ).

Lastly, I wanted to thank for everything again to all those we had the pleasure of playing with at Avulsed, and of course not to those who stay, which are Dave and Santi.

Thanks also to all the bands, promoters, media, photographers, and most of all those who have made us who we are, who are none other than Avulsed fans.

Without you we would never have been anything!
