This past week, MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL celebrated the NEGRO LEAGUE BASEBALL with a MLB game at the legendary RICKWOOD FIELD, Birmingham, Alabama where the late WILLIE MAYS played in the Negro League's before baseball and then the nation was desegregated.
Last month, MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL combined the NEGRO LEAGUE ball players statistics with that of MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL.
REGGIE JACKSON played baseball for the Oakland A's and New York Yankees, is a World Series Champion and a MLB HALL OF FAMER.
