ITP V.024 UPDATE: DAY OFF, BBL WITH MORE EXTREME METAL NEWS

 


 Not feeling well, and busy this weekend. So ITP V.024 is taking a day off from blogging today. Be back to blogging tomorrow. ITP V.024 MY DYING BRIDE:  "A MORTAL BINDING" REVIEW is POSTPONED until 7/7/2024.. 

Below is Legendary Major League Baseball player REGGIE JACKSON explaining how difficult it was to play baseball in the unofficially segregated South of the U.S.A back in the 60's. . 

This past week, MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL celebrated the NEGRO  LEAGUE  BASEBALL with a MLB game at the legendary RICKWOOD FIELD, Birmingham, Alabama where the late WILLIE MAYS played in the Negro League's before baseball and then the nation was desegregated. 

Last month,  MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL combined the NEGRO LEAGUE ball players statistics with that of MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL. 

REGGIE JACKSON played baseball for the Oakland A's and New York Yankees, is a World Series Champion  and a MLB HALL OF FAMER.

FROM CNN:   In 1967, before he climbed up to the majors, Jackson played with the Birmingham A's in the Double-A Southern League as one of the few Black players on the team. The team played at Rickwood Field.
