Cleveland, Ohio death/grind warriors EMBALMER are splitting up as drummer ROY STEWART has left the band.

 EMBALMER unleashed "EMANATIONS FROM THE CRYPT",   4/1/2016 via HELLS HEADBANGERS.

 Well... some already have heard the news, but after just shy of 35 years in existence, the Crematory oven has been idled and this chapter of EMBALMER has come to a close.... Last original founding member "The Embalmer" Roy Stewart has decided to retire. It's not usual that a drummer is the last man standing, and we thank him for his dedication and hard work through all the various eras and lineups of EMBALMER. As to what the future holds? That is all a bit unclear at this point, but there will be more information forthcoming at a future date once everything is closed out & worked out.... Promoters of our upcoming shows have been notified and posts are starting to go out, so it was time to make the official announcement to at least let everyone know. The entity known as EMBALMER is headed for the Mortuary. The band had many amazing experiences over the last 34 years, and also some definite challenges along the way, as any band can expect over 3 decades plus. Can't thank all the labels, promoters, fests, zines, etc. that have helped the band all this time. Most importantly, thank you to all the die hard underground fans & maniacs who have supported us! It is bittersweet, but all things come to an end eventually. "When you're dead you're dead...... right?
