ABIGORUM: SET TO UNLEASH "FORETASTE OF JUSTICE", POST NEW TRACK "THE CALL OF THE DESPERATE MOUNTAINS"

German and Russian based ambient, black doom metal warriors ABIGORUM have posted "THE CALL OF THE DESPERATE MOUNTAINS", a track from the bands anticipated new release "FORETASTE OF JUSTICE", due to be unleashed 8/13/2024 via SATANATH RECORDS.

ABIGORUM, via BANDCAMP, are streaming the bands anticipated new release "EXULTATUS MECHANISM", due to be unleashed 6/14/2019 via SATANATH RECORDS.

FROM ABIGORUM:

Premiere of new song "The Call of the Desperate Mountains (Der Ruf der verzweifelten Berge)" lyric video by Georgian-German atmospheric black/doom metal band Abigorum.

Song featured Mitka Akkoyun, a guest live member of the doom metal band Sermon, as a violinist and vocalist, with lyrics written in English by Jane Orpheus (owner of the Funere label). Also Dev, vocalist of the symphonic black metal band DivahaR, wrote the lyrics and performed vocals for the second half of the song. Arevik Melikyan helped translate her text from Armenian into English for video.

Album "Foretaste of Justice" will be released on August 13th, 2024. This is an important chapter in the history of the project, the genre of which has again undergone changes, becoming even more melodic and epic. Comparing with previous works, the band's departure from deliberate rudeness and gloomy dampness in music to thoughtful song structures and the creation of an uplifting atmosphere is clearly noticeable. At the same time, the sound itself did not become light, but retained anger and pain, especially in the lyrics. The album will be released as digipak CD (500 copies), black vinyl (100 copies), yellow vinyl (100 copies) and yellow-blue splattered vinyl (100 copies). Recorded and mixed in 2022-2023. Mastered by Robert Romagna (Audiostahl) in April 2024. Co-release by Satanath Records with Vegvisir Distribution, No Balls Records and Fetzner Death Records. Video by Drain Hope.
