I had not only the honor of corresponding with PK from Abigor and interviewing him 30 years ago, but also the opportunity to contribute my own lyrics to his bands Abigor and Heidenreich.

We remained in contact later on, and I came to know him as a talented musician and an intelligent conversationalist.

The news of his death is shocking—may he rest in peace. His legacy for black metal remains a timeless masterpiece.

Abigor's influence, not only on me as a young Black Metal fanatic but also continuously on the scene to this day, cannot and should not be underestimated. Often ahead of their time, the band continues to deliver one thing: Supreme Immortal Art! The numerous statements since the announcement of PK's passing loudly attest to this.

PK, we salute you! And beyond all Black Metal etiquette, my thoughts are especially with everyone who has lost a companion, bandmate, friend, brother, or family in PK.

PK 1975 – 2024

PK, co-founder of ABIGOR, died by his own hands through his own will. SUMMONING knew Peter since the 1993 ABMS days, early joint demo projects bear witness to these formative times. Silenius joined ABIGOR in 1994 and the band signed a deal with NAPALM Records – soon after, this collaboration led to a deal with SUMMONING and the past of both bands was inextricably interwoven during the 90s. For example, PK is mentioned on Dol Guldur with lyrical contributions. Many memorable weekends in these carefree youthful days followed, but especially in the past 10 years, common hikes to the open countryside and mountains of Austria led by Silenius have been regular highlights for the involved, often filled with stories of our common past. During his life, he was paragon for many in our scene, now in death, he became a legend.

PK (ABIGOR) 1975 – 2024

After PK died through his own hands, NAPALM Records pays homage to his legacy. Peter has been part of the circle around NAPALM in the early days, back when the young one-man company was still led from bedroom shelves in 1994. It was the beginning of an astonishing career for both, band and label, with a productive cooperation for many years. To a part, the success of ABIGOR, the enthusiastic contribution of the individuals and especially the third album “Nachthymnen” provided a basis for the growth and great development of NAPALM. In those carefree early days, several legendary meetings have been held in Vienna, Eisenerz and Leoben, thus, the person just as the artist will never be forgotten.
