MORK: ANNOUNCE NEW DRUMMER ASGEIR MICKELSON

Norwegian black metal warriors MORK have announced new drummer ASGEIR MICKELSON.

"MALIGNANT", drummer for Norwegian black metal warriors MORK has left the band.

MORK, via SPOTIFY, are streaming the bands anticipated new release “SYV”, unleashed 9/20/2024 via PEACEVILE RECORDS.

It is with great honour that we welcome drummer Asgeir Mickelson into the MORK family! His credentials speak volumes after playing for Testament, Borknagar, Ihsahn -Official-, SARKE and others, and we look forward to crushing the stages with him behind the set. Asgeir has been a close friend of MORK since he filled in for Malignant and played a few shows with us in 2019.

His debut as a permanent member will be in Bodø, Norway, on April 11. Welcome!

Mickelson: “After a five-year break, I had just picked up the sticks again to practice for Thomas' side project, UDÅD, when he called and said that MORK needs a new drummer. I know it’s an excellent band to play with, so I accepted. I really like how MORK combines old black metal with the new, and the people are great and professional. So, I’m really looking forward to traveling and playing the world again – and to all the festivals out there: Talk to our manager Håkon Grav at Photograve Management. We are ready!”
