THE COMPLETE LINEUP FOR PROGSTORM FESTIVAL 2025 IS HERE... FOR REAL THIS TIME!
What started as a bold vision has now grown into something far greater than we imagined. Thanks to your overwhelmingly positive response, ProgStorm Festival has officially expanded into a three-day celebration of progressive metal, uniting top local talent, rising stars of the genre, and internationally acclaimed acts in a landmark event for progressive metal in Québec and Canada.
The newly added Friday lineup kicks off the festival with three bands that embody the depth and diversity of modern progressive metal. Headlining this first evening, Ok Goodnight, one of the most promising acts in today’s progressive metal scene, crafts intricate compositions with deep emotional expression and dynamic musicianship.The keyboard-driven virtuosity of Lux Terminus delivers a breathtaking, genre-defying fusion of progressive metal, orchestral arrangements, and cinematic soundscapes. Setting the stage, Voidchaser brings an emotional, cinematic approach to the genre, blending soaring melodies, crushing riffs, and sci-fi-inspired narratives.
Saturday raises the stakes with a lineup packed with power and precision. Into Eternity makes their long-awaited return to Montréal as the night’s headliner, bringing their signature fusion of progressive and extreme metal. They’ll be joined by the intricate and genre-blending compositions of The Anchoret, the world premiere performance of Fleshvessel, an international collective redefining the boundaries of experimental and progressive metal, and the jaw-dropping technical brilliance of Omnivide, hailing from Moncton, New Brunswick. Opening the night is The Aphelion, Ottawa’s finest progressive metal act.
Sunday brings the festival to an unforgettable close, showcasing musical depth and technical mastery. Karcius, the renowned veterans of progressive rock and fusion, will headline the night with their emotionally charged and cinematic compositions. Joining them is the introspective and powerful music of The Reticent, making their Canadian debut, the intricate and deeply immersive soundscapes of From Dying Suns, the high-energy progressive metal assault of Imminent Sonic Destruction, and one of Montréal’s most unique prog acts, Ashbreather, kicking off the final night.
We promise—this is the final lineup announcement. No more surprise days after this! But what we can guarantee is that ProgStorm Festival 2025 will be something truly special. This event is built with no compromises—both for fans of progressive metal and for the incredible artists who make it what it is.

Ce qui a commencé comme une vision ambitieuse est devenu quelque chose de bien plus grand que ce que nous avions imaginé. Grâce à votre incroyable enthousiasme, le ProgStorm Festival s’est officiellement étendu sur trois jours pour célébrer le métal progressif sous toutes ses formes. Ce sera un événement marquant pour la scène progressive au Québec et au Canada, réunissant les meilleurs talents locaux, des étoiles montantes du genre et des groupes de renommée internationale.
La nouvelle soirée du vendredi donne le coup d’envoi au festival avec trois groupes qui incarnent toute la profondeur et la diversité du métal progressif moderne. En tête d’affiche, Ok Goodnight, l’un des groupes les plus prometteurs de la scène actuelle, propose des compositions complexes, pleines d’émotion et portées par une musicalité dynamique. Le trio Lux Terminus impressionne par sa virtuosité axée sur les claviers, livrant une fusion renversante de métal progressif, d’arrangements orchestraux et d’ambiances cinématographiques. Pour lancer la soirée, Voidchaser apporte une touche émotive et cinématographique au genre, mêlant mélodies envoûtantes, riffs percutants et récits inspirés de la science-fiction.
Samedi fait monter la pression avec une programmation puissante et raffinée. Into Eternity, tête d’affiche de la soirée, signe son grand retour à Montréal, avec son style unique fusionnant métal progressif et extrême. Ils seront accompagnés par The Anchoret, qui propose une approche subtile et audacieuse du genre, ainsi que par Fleshvessel, un collectif international qui présentera sa première performance mondiale, repoussant les frontières du métal expérimental et progressif. Le tout sera complété par la virtuosité technique époustouflante de Omnivide, venu tout droit de Moncton, au Nouveau-Brunswick. La soirée débutera avec The Aphelion, l’un des groupes les plus talentueux de la scène prog d’Ottawa.
Dimanche clôture le festival avec une démonstration de profondeur musicale et de maîtrise technique. Les vétérans du rock progressif et du jazz fusion Karcius seront les têtes d’affiche, livrant une performance riche en émotion et en puissance cinématographique. Ils seront rejoints par The Reticent, qui fera sa première apparition au Canada, par les paysages sonores immersifs et complexes de From Dying Suns, l’énergie pure et explosive d’Imminent Sonic Destruction, et enfin Ashbreather, l’un des groupes prog les plus uniques de Montréal, qui lancera la dernière soirée du festival.
