**ADOPT ME!** (The dog, not me)

We’re fostering this sweet pup who was rescued by Lucky Pup Rescue SC from an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina, where she was on the euthanasia list simply because they had no space. Now she’s safe, healthy, and happy, but in need of a forever home.

She’s about 8.5 months old and weighed 22 pounds at her last checkup. Her favorite things so far include laying in the grass, going for quick romps, solving food puzzles, getting belly rubs, exploring the yard, and meeting new people. She’s never met a stranger!

I think she may be a feist dog or some kind of sighthound mix.

She doesn’t shed much, isn’t particularly barky (as a former beagle owner, I was surprised), sleeps through the night in her crate, and shows no food aggression. She’s smart, eager to please, and bonds with new people quickly. I believe she’ll be easy to train and will make a loving companion.

She would thrive with an active person or a dynamic family. I would adopt her myself in a heartbeat if I could give her the consistency of activity that she deserves.

If you're looking for a young dog who’s affectionate, intelligent, and ready to be your adventure buddy, this is your girl. Let’s give her the best shot at a life where she can truly thrive.

Her official name is Linda, but we’ve given her a nickname and she’ll respond to whatever name you choose.
