Atmospheric Doom Titans Pantheïst Join Argonauta Records: New Album Coming This Year

We're proud to welcome one of the most respected names in atmospheric doom metal to the roster: Pantheist. After more than two decades of shaping the sound of funeral doom, the band is ready to enter a powerful new chapter with a brand new album coming later this year.

“Pantheist are proud to be joining the crew of Argonauta Records. Navigating the music industry alone has been challenging, but now we have found the right partner to sail alongside. This collaboration will allow us to fully focus on our creative vision, including the release of a double vinyl album later this year. We look forward to working with Argonauta and beginning this new chapter together.”

Formed in 2000, Pantheist are among the true standard bearers of atmospheric funeral doom. With six full length albums and shows across 15 countries, they shared the stage with bands like Tiamat, Arcturus, Saturnus, Esoteric, Skepticism, While Heaven Wept, Mourning Beloveth, Evoken and The Ruins of Beverast. Their legendary debut O Solitude remains a milestone of the genre.

With the addition of soprano Linda Dumitru, Pantheist are now recording their seventh studio album, promising an immersive and emotional journey for longtime fans and newcomers alike. The album is expected in Autumn 2026, with live activity already planned for 2026 and 2027, including NorthWest Doom Fest (UK) and Symphonic Metal Echoes (Romania).
