Denmark based extreme metal warriors DEFACING GOD have posted the bands anticipated new release "DARKNESS IS MY CROWN", unleashed 3/27/2026 via APOSTASY RECORDS.

“The road to this album hasn’t just been long- it’s been a goddamn battlefield!

To say the journey was "challenging" would be a massive understatement. We’ve survived death, destruction, health issues, betrayal and total uncertainty. We’ve faced collapsed deals, lineup changes and more that nearly tore this project apart. There were moments when it felt like the world was actively trying to stop this record from existing. But we didn’t stop. We didn’t break and that’s the point of it.

This album is a map of that struggle - a testament to survival and the sound of us refusing to give up. From raw emotions, this record is an unfiltered reflection of confronting massive, personal darkness head-on.

Every track is a piece of the journey, capturing the inner strength we found when everything fell apart. It is a balance between pain and resilience, transforming our deepest shadows into a crown of strength and identity.

We made it.

We’re still here and we couldn’t be prouder to finally share this ritual with you. Navigating the music industry today requires a strong mindset. The landscape has shifted dramatically and the conditions are near-inhumane. Pushing through demands genuine passion!
